At King of Lawn Care, we are committed to consistency, communication, and delivering premium results every visit.

These policies are designed to keep your service running smoothly while maintaining the highest standards.

1. Service Scheduling


Services are performed on a recurring schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or annual plans such as 42 visits per year).

  • Service routes, timing, and frequency are determined by King of Lawn Care to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Service days may vary due to routing, weather, or operational needs.
  • Arrival times are not guaranteed.


2. Property Access


Customers must ensure:

  • Gates are unlocked
  • Pets are secured


If access is not available at the time of service:

  • The visit may be skipped
  • A trip fee or full service charge may apply


3. Weather & Scheduling Adjustments


Services may be delayed due to rain, saturated ground, or unsafe conditions.

  • Delays do not qualify for refunds
  • Service will be rescheduled based on route availability and lawn conditions


Florida lawns experience seasonal growth changes:

  • During slower growth periods, service frequency may be adjusted
  • This helps protect lawn health and avoid unnecessary cutting


4. Payment & Billing (Card on File Required)


A valid credit or debit card must be kept on file for all recurring services.

  • Services are billed automatically (per visit or monthly plans)
  • Any unpaid balance after 7 days may be automatically charged
  • Late balances may incur a 10% late fee
  • Past due accounts may result in service suspension


5. Cancellations & Service Changes

  • A minimum of 24-hour notice is required for cancellations or changes
  • Same-day cancellations or failure to provide access may result in:
  • Full service charge or
  • Trip fee


Recurring services require written notice to cancel.


6. Trip Fee Policy


If service is not canceled at least 24 hours prior, a $15 trip fee may be applied.


This applies if:

  • Service is canceled same-day or upon arrival
  • Property is not accessible (locked gate, pets not secured)
  • Service cannot be completed due to on-site conditions


7. Yard Preparation Requirements


Customers must:

  • Remove toys, hoses, furniture, and debris
  • Ensure lawn is clear and ready for service


Failure to prepare may result in:

  • Partial service
  • Additional charges
  • Or skipped visit billed at full rate


8. Pet Waste Policy


Lawns must be free of excessive pet waste.

  • Crews will not mow over pet waste
  • Service may be skipped and billed
  • Cleanup may result in additional charges


9. Overgrowth & Initial Service Condition


Overgrown lawns may require:

  • A one-time cleanup fee
  • Additional labor charges


Skipping services may result in excessive growth.

Lawns requiring extra time or multiple passes will be subject to additional charges on the next visit.


10. Damage & Liability


King of Lawn Care is not responsible for damage to:

  • Hidden or unmarked sprinkler heads
  • Wires, cables, or invisible fencing
  • Loose or improperly installed items


Customers are responsible for clearly marking all hazards.


All concerns must be reported within 24 hours of service.


11. Satisfaction Guarantee


If you’re not satisfied:

  • Contact us within 24 hours
  • We will review and schedule a touch-up if needed


Refunds are not guaranteed.


12. Scope of Services


Standard service includes:

  • Mowing
  • Edging
  • String trimming
  • Blowing


Additional services (quoted separately):

  • Bush trimming
  • Weed control
  • Mulch or rock installs
  • Irrigation or repairs


13. Pricing Structure & Plan Consistency

  • Pricing is based on lawn size, condition, and frequency
  • Annual plans (ex: 42 visits) are billed evenly monthly


Pricing may be adjusted with notice due to:

  • Property changes
  • Service changes
  • Increased operational costs


14. Service Refusal Policy


King of Lawn Care reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

  • Property conditions are unsafe
  • Repeated access issues occur
  • Policies are not followed
